My Profile Photo

Internet of Me by Jerad Acosta

A place to reference, recite, rinse and repeat my efforts, failures, thoughts and progress, delusions and regressions, but mostly a sandbox for whoever I am at the moment. Perhaps I'll occasionally enjoy the reminiscing with the castles or taking census of the endless games of tic-tac-toe etched in my box.

Notebook Basics

In my Jupyter and iPython Data adventures I find having access to this information expedites my work and thus belongs somewhere easy to keep.

Notebook tutorials

    • read a digital book
    • interact with a “live” book
  • notebook developers
    • create notebooks for students, readers, …

Notebooks contain cells

  • Code cells
    • execute computer (Python, or many other languages)
  • Markdown cells
    • documentation, “narrative” cells
      • guide a reader through a notebook

Following cells are “live” cells
