Internet of Me by Jerad Acosta

A place to reference, recite, rinse and repeat my efforts, failures, thoughts and progress, delusions and regressions, but mostly a sandbox for whoever I am at the moment. Perhaps I'll occasionally enjoy the reminiscing with the castles or taking census of the endless games of tic-tac-toe etched in my box.

EON Chart Builder | by PubNub

As I’ve begun to settle down in SF - after a quick 2 years nearly - I have started to kick my feet up and unpack. In doing so, I’ve come across my treasured micro controllers, Single-Board-Computers, sensors, and all sorts of IoT and device goodies.
I quickly dove into a view fun projects then moved into some unknown areas sorta free-styling my way along. Learned a few new platforms and IDEs while still keeping some old favorites close by.

My favorite all around devices are easily the Raspberry Pi 3 and ESP8266 released by Adafruit as a Huzzah board.

More recently, have spent my time in SF building data driven dashboards as can be seen on my projects page.

So I guess it is only natural I started working on dashboards for IoT dashboards. In my search for such a tool I found the EON project by PubNub. Below is default dashboard so I can see what it looks like when published on my site (currently static single page app hosted on GitHub pages).

Do you have a favorite dashboard for IoT? …?

Please let me know!

I would really love to build my own dashboard in R and have it displayed here; either as an html page built from an Rmarkdown doc or notebook, or even a Shiny app hosted on a Raspberry Pi 3 - an IoT dashboard hosted on an IoT device!

and so begins my quest for the ultimate IoT dashboard… stay tuned
